The Central Election Commission (CEC) Tuesday announced that the state-owned Information Services JSC is the public procurement contractor for the organization and technology of data processing of the votes, including machine votes, at the municipal election commissions and the CEC and for the publication of a CEC bulletin during the October 29 local elections and a possible second round.

The contract is capped at BGN 7.8 million before VAT (BGN 9.36 million after VAT).

The municipal election commissions must have the scanned copies of the tally sheets of the section election commissions no later than five hours after receipt and verification of the last section tally sheet and no later than 48 hours after the end of voting.

Within five hours of CEC's receipt of the last section tally sheet, Information Services must provide to the CEC a printout of all numerical data discrepancies between the databases generated at the municipal election commissions and the CEC.

December 8, 2023, is the deadline for completion of the preparation and formatting for printing of the voting data and the local election results, their printing in a CEC bulletin of the results, including on a technical medium, and their submission to the CEC.
