A 59-year-old Polish tourist was hospitalized after an accident with a multi-car sightseeing mini-train. The incident took place on an alley in the Sunny Beach resort, reported the Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Burgas.
The driver, a 46-year-old man from Smolyan, tested positive for alcohol.
The injured Polish tourist has a non-life threatening head injury.
Initial feports indicate that the tourist was riding a bicycle, lost his balance and collided with the tourist train.
Earlier in the summer, an English tourist was also injured in an accident with a tourist train in the resort. Then the train, driven by a driver who had consumed alcohol, crashed into a shop. The English tourist was a customer at the store.
