August 31: Mostly sunny, temporary increases of cumulonimbus clouds. Short but heavy rainfall with thunder over the mountain parts after noon. Hail conditions. Moderate west-northwesterly wind. Highs: between 27C and 32C, about 27C in Sofia.  

The Black Sea coast: Mostly sunny before noon. Cumulonimbus clouds after noon, rain and thunder later in the evening and during the night. Moderate westerly wind. Highs: between 28C and 31C. Seawater temperature: 26C-28C. Sea waves: 2-3 degrees Douglas.

The mountains: Variable cloud, often significant, cumulonimbus. Short rainfall with thunder. Hail conditions. Significant and temporarily intensive rain in Central Bulgaria. Highs: around 21C at 1,200 metres, and about 14C at 2,000 metres.
