site.btaRoad Near Burgas Closed by Protesting Locals over Poor Road Condition

Residents of the coastal town of Kableshkovo, the village of Laka and Burgas briefly closed the Burgas - Kableshkovo road to protest against the poor condition of the road section. According to the protesters, this is a main road and only partial repairs have been made to it over the last ten years. The people demanded urgent repairs. 

In parallel with the protest, the a petition has started, which will be sent to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Road Infrastructure Agency. Protesters said that a promise from the institutions to repair the stretch, which connected at least 50 settlements, was made eight years ago, but nothing has been done. 

A week ago residents of Burgas' neighborhoods of Rudnik and Cherno More blocked traffic in the direction of Burgas, but because of the poor condition of the road.
