site.bta157 Fires Put Out in Bulgaria on Wednesday
A total of 157 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Public Protection said on its website on Thursday. Firefighters had responded to 193 accident alerts.
Material damage was caused by 20 fires, seven of which were in residential buildings. There were 137 fires without material damage. There were 28 rescue and aid operations, two of which were road accidents.
