site.btaSupreme Judicial Council Approves 15% Pay Raise for Magistrates

The Plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) decided to increase the base salaries of magistrates and employees by 15%. The money based on one's rank is also increased. 14 members of the council voted in favour of the proposal, none against.

The Council voted on a decision approving the budget of the judiciary for 2023 and the budgets of the bodies of the judiciary for 2023.

In its draft budget for 2023. The SJC had set a 20% increase in the salaries of magistrates due to inflation.
