site.btaVehicle Carrying 14 Migrants Crashes on Trakia Motorway

A vehicle with 14 migrants crashed on the Trakia motorway some 50 km from Sofia, the Interior Ministry told BTA. The accident was reported at around 06:30 am on Wednesday.

A police patrol arrived at the scene of the accident and found 14 undocumented migrants in the vehicle, claiming to be Afghans. Three of them were taken to the hospital for medical examinations. There were no serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle has fled the scene. A search is being carried out.
