“After the meeting where the salary increase in the sector was commented, we feel satisfied with the work done and the commitments made by the Minister of Finance and the political parties in the National Assembly who proposed and supported the two increases of BGN 175 plus 10% during the budget procedure,” Tsvetan Mihaylov, member of the board of the trade union of prison staff in Bulgaria, told BTA.

According to him, the union will seek normalization of relations with the government and will rely on more audibility and finding points of contact with the leadership of the ministry on issues of great importance to prison employees.
