Average temperatures in Bulgaria in August are expected to be normal and a bit higher than their usual values for this month. In most of Bulgaria, average temperatures will range between 18 and 24C, and between 13 and 17C in the mountains. The lowest temperatures in August will range between 13 and 18C, and the highest will range between 35 and 40C.

In most parts of the country, the monthly amount of rainfall in August will be normal - between 30 and 50 l/m2 in the plains, between 20 and 35 l/m2 along the Black Sea coast, and between 50 and 80 l/m2 in the mountains.

Until mid-August, the weather will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will usually form around noon and in the afternoons. There is a good chance of brief showers around August 5 and 6 and August 10. Those showers are likely to bring colder weather.

In the second half of August, average temperatures in most of Bulgaria are expected to be higher than usual. The weather will be sunny and dry with almost no rain.
