A total of 28,400 calls were made to the National Child Helpline (at telephone number 116 111) under the State Agency for Child Protection in the past year 2022, the organization said. Reports of children at risk were 1,052, which is over 3% more than in 2021. Most of the reports were for physical and mental abuse of a child, followed by signals for neglect.
