Two Bulgarian artists - Kamber Kamber from Momchilgrad and Angelina Nedin from Sozopol - are among the 25 artists from Balkan countries whose works will be presented in the exhibition "Edirne through the brush of Balkan artists" in the framework of a symposium organized at the invitation of the regional government. For 10 days, in a specially prepared studio, artists from Bulgaria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia painted works with themes inspired by Edirne’s historical and tourist attractions.

The artists' works will be arranged in an exhibition that will be opened at the Balkan Congress Centre of the Trakya University on March 7.

The exhibition is organized on the initiative of the Platform for Cooperation between the Balkan Countries, which was founded late last year with Edirne Vileyat Yunus Sezer as its chairman, Anadolu Agency reported.
Kamber expressed his delight to represent Bulgaria at such an important event while Nedin pointed out that events of this kind are very useful and should be organized in all Balkan countries.

The first international symposium on Balkan Countries’ culture and art will be held in Edirne on March 7-8. It will be attended by distinguished specialists in the fields of culture, art and history.
