Opening the 16th Balkan Countries Chiefs of Defence (CHODs) Conference here on Thursday, Bulgaria's Chief of Defence, Admiral Emil Eftimov, said that the Chiefs of Defence whose countries participate in the CHODs initiative share a lasting commitment to the idea that security and stability in the Balkans must be built in a spirit of trust and mutual respect.
