Sofia, September 4 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov leaves on a two-day visit to Israel Tuesday and Wednesday, said the government press office.

On the first day, he will be attending the opening of a monument in Tel Aviv commemorating the Bulgarian role in rescuing Jews from the Nazi death camps during World War II, and the 18th World Summit on Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya.

He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu September 5 and discuss with him bilateral relations and issues from the international agenda.

On Borissov's delegation are Deputy Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev and representatives of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and the Jewish community in Bulgaria. LN/
