Varna, on the Black Sea, September 8 (BTA) - Coach Plamen
Konstantinov on Saturday unveiled the extended 14-member lineup
of Bulgaria's national men's volleyball team for the final
tournament of the World Championship which will be held in
Bulgaria and Italy from September 9 to 30.

The Championship is returning to Bulgaria after a hiatus of 48
years. The final tournament will begin with 24 teams, divided
into four pools of six teams each. During the first round, the
Bulgarian squad will be playing in Varna. They will open the
tournament with a match against Finland at 8:30 p.m. local time
on Sunday. The Bulgarians' pool also includes Iran, Puerto Rico,
 Cuba and world champions Poland.

The extended lineup of the Bulgarian team is as follows:

The first-round matches (September 9 to 18) will be played at
the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. After the opening
match against Finland, the Bulgarians will play Iran on
September 13, Puerto Rico on September 14, Cuba on September 16
