Sofia, September 14 (BTA) - Dr Mihail Hristov is the new director of the Executive Agency for Transplantation, the Health Ministry said in a press release Friday.

He will replace Dr Mariana Simeonova, who resigned as director on Monday for what the Health Ministry said were personal reasons related to her career development. She first tendered her resignation in June over problems with lung transplants but Health Minister Kiril Ananiev did not accept it.

Also on Friday, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry told a briefing that the Executive Director of the Forestry Agency, Grigor Gogov, wishes to resign and will do so by the end of the day or on September 17.
