Sofia, September 18 (BTA) - Bavarian Attorney General Reinhard Roettle is making an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov, the prosecution service said on Tuesday.

Roettle is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for Judicial Reform Ekaterina Zaharieva, and Justice Minister Tsetska Tsacheva.

Roettle and the senior prosecutors accompanying him will also meet with Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Internal Security and Public Order Committee, and with Plamen Georgiev, Chairman of the Commission for Counter-Corruption and Unlawfully Acquired Assets Forfeiture.

The discussions will focus on bilateral cooperation in the fight against organized crime, corruption and terrorism, Eurojust Joint Investigation Teams, exchange of expertise and the new European Public Prosecutor's Office. RY/DD
