Sofia, September 26 (BTA) - The Prosecutors General of Bulgaria and Albania, Sotir Tsatsarov and Arta Marku, Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two prosecution offices. The document envisages interaction in the area of international legal aid and information exchange, Bulgaria's prosecuting magistracy said.

Marku is paying an official visit to Sofia at his Bulgarian counterpart's invitation.

The memorandum of understanding and cooperation is yet another document signed as a basis of interaction between Balkan countries' prosecution offices. Bulgaria has signed similar memoranda with Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and Turkey.
