September 27 (BTA) - Demonstrations, games and workshops
will be the highlights of this year's European Researchers'
Night, the organizers of the event said in a BTA-hosted news
conference.

Around a dozen cities across the country will take part in the
European Researchers' Nights on September 28, which is an annual
 event held simultaneously across some 300 cities across Europe
and the world. In Bulgaria, the official start will be given at
6:00 pm in Sofia University's central lobby.

The events at universities will start this Friday afternoon with
 a workshop of young talents titled "In Dinosaurs' Footsteps".
There will be discussion clubs, robotics workshops, "curiosity
offices", etc.

The Stara Zagora Trakia University is organizing events in three
 cities - Harmanli, Haskovo and Stara Zagora, which include many
 activities designed for children, demonstrations, workshops,
etc. Students and adults will be able to visit the University's
laboratories and museums, Prof. Galya Kozhuharova said.

European Researchers' Night is a main event and part of the
K-TRIO 3 project, funded under the Horizon 2020 Programme. The
project's duration is two years and next year's focus will be on
 researchers in the network society. Among the main partners of
this year's event are the St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University,
 the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, the
Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Varna Medical University,
Trakia University and the University of Ruse.
