Foreign Ministry Issues Severe Weather
Warning to Bulgarians
Travelling to Greece


Sofia, September 28 (BTA) - The Foreign Ministry is warning Bulgarians travelling to or residing in Greece that a Mediterranean cyclone in the Southern Ionian Sea is heading eastwards, bringing rain and gale-force winds to most of the Peloponnese and Crete on the morning of September 29. It is then expected to lash Attica, Evia and the Cyclades and to reach the Eastern Aegean islands and probably the Dodecanese on September 30. Boats have remained docked in Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrion.

Bulgarian citizens travelling or residing in those regions should act with caution and follow the instructions of the local authorities.
