Sofia, October 10 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov Wednesday conferred with the Apostolic Nuncio to Bulgaria, Anselmo Guido Pecorari, the government's information service said.

The excellent relations between Bulgaria and the Vatican were discussed during the meeting, as well as the possibility for a visit to Bulgaria by His Holiness Pope Francis, the press release says.

During an audience in the Vatican in May, Borissov made an official invitation for a visit to Bulgaria of Pope Francis. RY/ZH
