site.btaPM Borissov to Pay Working Visit to Finland

November 7 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is
paying a working visit to Finland on November 7 and 8, the
Government information service said Wednesday.

In the course of his visit, Borissov will confer with the Prime
Minister of the Republic of Finland, Juha Sipila. The sides will
 discuss bilateral relations and focus on even more active
cooperation within the EU, the press release said.

Other subjects will include matters on the European agenda, as
well as the results of the first Bulgarian Presidency of the
Council of the EU and Finland's forthcoming Presidency in the
second half of 2019.

The two prime ministers will also discuss the European
perspective and connectivity of the Western Balkans, the current
 challenges before the Union, and the opportunities for
enhancing cooperation between Bulgaria and Finland in the
context of the EU Common and Defence Policy. RY/BR
