November 15 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Justice Ministry
refuted publications that former Macedonian prime minister
Nikola Gruevski fled to Hungary with a Bulgarian passport.

The Justice Ministry said on Thursday that Gruevski does not
have a Bulgarian citizenship, not has he applied for such.

Data of the Interior Ministry show that Gruevski has not been
issued a Bulgarian passport.

The Macedonian authorities issued an arrest warrant for Gruevski
after he failed to appear to serve a two-year prison sentence
for misuse of influence rendered in October. RY/
