Three events kicked off Wednesday at Sofia's Inter Expo Center: Architectural Building Week; the Green Energy and Building, Information, Modelling (BIM) Expo, with more than 190 exhibitors, nearly 1,000 Bulgarian and foreign brands, and more than 30 side events. The exhibition continues until March 29
Representatives of the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design, the Bulgarian Construction Chamber, the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Association for Insulation in Construction, the Bulgarian Industrial Association and Inter Expo Center participated in the ceremony.
Architectural Building Week is the business exhibition that for the 25th time unites all segments in construction and architecture. Visitors are managers of construction companies and stores, architects and designers, investors, entrepreneurs, engineers, manufacturers, traders, distributors, consultants, real estate agents, urban planners, technicians and specialists in road infrastructure, interior designers, facilities and utilities specialists and others.
Green Energy is being held for the third time. The organizers of the event emphasize energy management, heating, and renewable energy. Vehicles, charging systems, and batteries are the focus in the Electromobility sector.
The latest smart systems and technologies for energy storage, solar solutions, smart public transport and mobility, sustainable urban environment, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning are presented, Inter Expo Center state.
Another emphasis in Green Energy is smart cities, energy efficiency solutions, passive buildings, systems for their management, waste management, and recycling, specialized machinery, composting equipment, products from recycled materials, technologies for remediation of contaminated soil, and local treatment facilities for buildings.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is an integral element of modern construction, architecture, engineering and design, participants in the exhibitions indicated. The digital design methodology gathers all the information and enables project management and detailing before the project even starts. BIM will be the focus of the first edition of BIM Expo, a project of Inter Expo Center.
Tickets for the exhibition cost BGN 8 if purchased online from the Inter Expo Center website and BGN 15 if purchased on site. Admission is free for schoolchildren and university students upon presentation of a student card or student ID.
