site.btaOver 200 Delegates from 100 Countries Gather for Sixth News Agencies World Congress in Sofia

June 10 (BTA) - The Sixth News Agencies World Congress
will take place at Sofia's NDK convention centre on June 13 and
14. The Bulgarian  News Agency (BTA) is hosting the forum.

The congress is mottoed "The Future of News" and on its agenda
are fake news, artificial intellect, news agency ownership
models and new sources of information.

The forum will bring together over 200 delegates from some 100
countries, including the managers of leading news agencies from
five continents, journalists from the most influential world
publications and high-profile social media personalities.

Attending will be Clive Marshall, Chief Executive of the Press
Association Group and News Agencies World Council President, DPA
 President Peter Kropsch, Aslan Aslanov, Chairman of the Board
of AZERTAC and News Agencies World Congress President, Rasmus
Nielsen, Director of the Reuters Institute for the Study of
Journalism, Earl Wilkinson, International News Media Executive
Director, and writer Eric Weiner.

The forum will be formally unveiled at 10 am on June 13. The
working sessions of the Sixth News Agencies World Congress will
be livestreamed at www.nawc.bg and at www.bta.bg. RY/PP
