June 12 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov presided
over a regular meeting of Cabinet's Security Council, held here
on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers' press service reported.

A draft annual report on the state of Bulgaria's national
security in 2018 was discussed at the meeting, which is to be
submitted for review to the Council of Ministers. The Security
Council has approved the report on its activity last year, as
well as a draft plan for its regular meetings in 2019.

Interior Minister Mladen Marinov has reported the activities
under the annual plan for implementing the
counter-radicalization and counter-terrorism strategy in 2018
and 2019.

The meeting focused on the preparations for the United Nations
Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee's visit to
Bulgaria.

Borissov later told journalists that the future counterterrorism
centre's location in Bulgaria has been established. He
explained that the topic was discussed during the Security
Council, which was attended by representatives of the
President's administration. "When we are ready, we'll finance
it. We have funds set aside," the Prime Minister commented.
