site.btaBorder Traffic Update
Traffic across the borders with Romania and Greece is intense, Border Police said on Wednesday morning.
On the border with Romania, traffic at checkpoint Ruse is intense at the entrance for cars.
Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, traffic temporarily uses one lane, regulated by traffic lights. In addition to Ruse, drivers in the region can also cross the border at Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm every day, and no trucks are allowed through them.
On the border with Greece, traffic at Kulata is heavy in both directions for cars. Only cars and vans are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Due to a technical problem there is a delay in the processing of goods vehicles.
On the borders with North Macedonia and Turkiye, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.
