Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev cabled condolences to the people of Spain on the floods in the country that have caused dozens of deaths.
"I send my heartfelt compassion and sympathies to the people of Spain over the tragic loss of lives in the deadly floods. Deepest condolences to the families of the victims. We stand in solidarity with Spain in the face of this devastating disaster," Radev wrote on X.
At least 95 people have been killed by floods in Spain. Spain’s Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory Angel Victor Torres told RTVE that at least 92 deaths were recorded in the Valencia autonomous community, with another two in Castilla-La Mancha and another one in Andalucia.
Meteorologists said a year's worth of rain had fallen in eight hours in parts of Valencia on Tuesday.
