Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) MP candidates in Sliven protested against the nomination of Borislav Sarafov as prosecutor general on Wednesday.

"Bulgarian citizens will not remain indifferent if Borislav Sarafov is elected prosecutor general," said top-of-the-list candidate Tatyana Sultanova.

The protests were also supported by residents of Sliven. "The residents expressed their firm position that they do not accept political pressure on the judicial system", CC-DB stated. The coalition added that it is time for resistance against corruption in the judiciary, in order for there to be justice and true democracy in Bulgaria.
