November 17 (BTA) - By order of the National Construction
Control Directorate (DNCC), the certificates of six
construction supervision companies have been terminated. The
measure relates to three penalty decrees that have been enforced
for a period of two years, imposing property sanctions on the
sanctioned legal entities, said the Ministry of Regional
Development and Public Works on Sunday.

Between January and September 2019, the DNCC has imposed
property sanctions on construction supervision companies in the
amount of nearly 300,000 leva and fines on individuals for more
than 10,000 leva. In 2018, imposed sanctions on persons
exercising construction supervision totalled at nearly 215,000
leva and fines on individuals for at over 5,000 leva.

A total of 4,341 inspections were carried out of companies
performing control over construction in categories 1 to 3.
Sixty-one statements of violation of the Administrative
Violations and Sanctions Act were issued for the established
violations, on which penalty decrees and four orders for
stopping construction have been issued.

Since the beginning of the year, the DNCC has carried out over
17,000 official inspections of issued building permits and
orders for their completion, canceling 145 building permits.
