site.btaInternational Hang-Gliding Tournament Okolchitza Open 2024 Takes Place in Vratsa

The Okolchitza Open is being held for the sixth year on Mount Okolchitsa in the Balkan range near Vratsa, with 20 competitors from Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine and Russia taking part in the international hang-gliding tournament, said the Vratsa Municipality on Tuesday.

The tournament will also have a category for the national championship competition, while the other two categories of the tournament will be for masted and for mastless hang gliders.

The Okolchitza Open is being organized by the Hang Gliding Club of the Vratsa Tourist Association. The sponsors of the tournament are the Vratsa Municipality and the Rotary Club Vratsa.
