site.btaDimitrovgrad in Serbia to Host International Youth Day Festival

A youth festival is set to take place on 12 August, International Youth Day, at the Dimitrovgrad swimming pool complex in southeastern Serbia, the Bulgarian and Serbian multimedia portal FAR said on Friday.

The event is scheduled to start at 20:00 local time, Ivana Taskov, acting director of the National Library "Detko Petrov", said.

The festival will include a musical programme developed by young people from clubs established under the Partner Network for Youth Initiatives, Creativity and Development (YOUTHPartNET) project, she said.

Taskov added that young people and mentors from clubs in Kostenets and Momin Prohod, Bulgaria, along with an official delegation from Kostenets Municipality, will visit Dimitrovgrad.

"Young people on both sides of the border look forward to the meeting, which will build on the partnerships and friendships formed during the YOUTHPartNET project," she said.

The Youth Festival and International Youth Day are organised by the National Library "Detko Petrov" and Dimitrovgrad Municipality.
