site.btaGross External Debt of General Government Sector at End of October 2019 Amounts to Mln 5,400.6 Euro Or 9.1 Per Cent of GDP

December 27 (BTA) - The gross external debt as of the end
 of October 2019 amounts to 34,469.5 euro, or 58.3 per cent of
the GDP, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Friday.

Year on year, the debt has increased by 86.5 million euro, or
0.3 per cent.

At the end of October 2019 long-term debts amount to 26,092
million euro (75.7 per cent of the gross debt or 44.1 per cent
of the GDP), seeing a year-on-year decrease of 57.9 million
euro.

The gross external debt of the General Government Sector at the
end of October 2019 amounts to 5,400.6 million euro, or 9.1 per
cent of GDP. The external debts of the sector have decreased by
200.3 million euro compared to October 2018, the BNB informs.
