Speaking to the media in Parliament on Wednesday, BSP for Bulgaria floor leader Borislav Gutsanov said that if they are handed the third exploratory government-forming mandate, they will do everything in their power to form "a regular expert cabinet of national salvation".

In his words, a statesmanlike approach is needed in terms of the third mandate. Gutsanov noted that the parliamentary group that receives the third mandate should do everything possible to ensure dialogue and consensus between the political parties.

He said that if they get the mandate, BSP’s National Council will convene and decide who the parliamentary group will hold talks with and how. "My personal opinion is that there should be talks with as many political parties and MPs as possible," he said.
