Sofia Airport remains unaffected by the global IT outage which has caused disruptions for companies across the world, the airport's press office told BTA on Friday.

Flight cancellations and delays, if any, may be due to other airports and carriers which are affected by the IT outage, the press office said.

Meanwhile, Ryanair warned of air traffic disruptions due to the IT outage. Its flight from Berlin to Sofia was cancelled.

Many airports and carriers in Europe are currently experiencing difficulties due to the IT outage. Sofia Airport is not affected, but some departing and arriving flights may be delayed due to the situation in Europe, the Airport warns and advises passengers to monitor the flight schedule on Airport's website.
