site.btaBGN 54 Mln Additional Funds to Be Provided to Agriculture Ministry

The Council of Ministers Wednesday adopted a decree on making changes to the maximum amounts of expenditure commitments that can be made in 2024 under the budget of the Agriculture Ministry for 2024, approved by Bulgaria's 2024 State Budget Act.

The increase is due to the need to reflect the commitments made under multiannual contracts concluded from April 24, 2024 between the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and a servicing company for the collection, transportation, storage and disposal of dead animals, germ products, raw materials and food of animal origin, animal by-products and products derived thereof under Article 275(4)(1). The four contracts concluded cover the abovementioned activities in all 28 regions of the country.
