The Sofia Regional Prosecution Service announced on Monday that a 25-year-old Swedish citizen has been indicted for threatening to kill a woman and inflicting bodily harm. The man in question is currently in detention, and the case is under active police investigation.

On June 28, 2024, a domestic dispute resulted in an arrest after a woman sustained minor injuries to her body, face, and head due to an assault. The assailant also threatened her with a knife.

The perpetrator was indicted and detained for up to 72 hours by a prosecutor's order. He is currently facing criminal charges that could potentially result in imprisonment.
