On this date in Bulgarian history:

1996: National Assembly defeats third motion of no confidence in government of Socialist prime minister Zhan Videnov (in office from January 25, 1995 until February 12, 1997), tabled by Union of Democratic Forces over failed economic policy.

2002: National Assembly adopts Safe Use of Nuclear Energy Act.

2014: Parliament votes 109-114, with one abstention, to reject fifth no-confidence vote against Plamen Oresharski cabinet over failure of fiscal policy. Motion is tabled by GERB.
