site.btaDefence Ministry Warns of Shooting Training over Shabla on June 10-14
Due to joint combat firing, danger zones will be activated over the Shabla Air Force anti-aircraft firing range and its adjacent water area and the territorial sea - between Cape Kaliakra and Cape Kartalborun, the Ministry of Defence said.
This will happen from 11:30 on June 10 to 11:30 on June 14, the ministry added.
The firings are part of NATO's Ramstein Legacy - 2024 exercise, which began on June 7 from the Koren training range. The air defence formations of the Land Forces will take part in the exercises, demonstrating their shooting capabilities with man-portable air defence missile complexes. The exercise is taking place in the territories and airspaces of Bulgaria and Romania until June 14.
