The Varna Water Supply and Sewerage Company is investing over BGN 2 million in new construction equipment, the company said on Wednesday. The equipment includes five backhoe loaders, a mini excavator, convenient for working in limited spaces, and four tippers with three-way unloading.

The machines have already been distributed and are being used by the waterworks units. New construction equipment for the needs of the company has not been purchased for years. Investments in this direction will continue in the future, the company added. The plan is to provide new cars for the structures that carry out the remote reading of the water meters.

Company Manager Veselin Rusev noted that digitization of all work processes is imminent, so the company is preparing scholarship and internship programmes to attract young people.
