Sofia, March 27 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria has reached 276, up by 33 in the past 24 hours,
national coronavirus task force chief Maj. Gen. Ventsislav
Moutafchiiski said, speaking at a regular morning briefing on
Friday.

Moutafchiiski said that 7,473 hospital beds, out of which 1,137
in Sofia, have been set aside to deal with the epidemic. There
are 1,347 ICU beds with ventilators, 518 in Sofia.

Moutafchiiski said that recommendations have been prepared for
discharge of COVID-19 patients in good clinical condition and
improved symptoms. Such people will be placed under house
quarantine and tested again on the 21st day. Also, if a member
of a family has been diagnosed with coronavirus, the entire
family is to be quarantined. NV/ZH
