The traveling exhibition "Traces of Disappearance" will first be seen in Sofia, May 7-11, and then in Plovdiv, Burgas and Velingrad

A traveling exhibition seeks to raise awareness of the animal species threatened with extinction, inhabiting the Rhodope mountain. Titled "Traces of Disappearance", it opens first in Sofia's Slon Gallery on May 7 and will remain there until May 11, said the organizers.

By June 7, it will tour Plovdiv, Burgas and Velingrad.

"We have immortalized the tracks of these animals: wild horse, wolf, brown bear, wild cat, bison, wild goat, golden eagle, hazel dormouse, otter, grouse, but we don't want this to be their last footprint. Each of us can help to stop the disappearing of animal tracks. What we  can do is protect local flora, create habitat for bees that occupy a crucial place in the health of local ecosystems, help clean up an area near us," say the organizers of "Traces of Disappearance".
