Covid-19 Cases in Bulgaria Increase to 412
Sofia, April 1 (BTA) – The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria have increased to 412, the head of the national task force. Prof. Ventsislav Moutafchiiski, told a regular news briefing on Wednesday morning. There were 33 newly diagnosed patients in the past 24 hours and 23 were admitted to hospital (adding up to a total of 146 in hospital).
The northern region of Rousse had its first COVID-19 case on Tuesday. The patient is a man who worked at a ski resort in Austria.
Twenty patients have recovered fully, including three in the past 24 hours. 14 of the hospitalized patiens are in intensive care (in Sofia and Plovdiv).
After one MP, Hassan Ademov, tested positive, all deputies will be tested on Wednesday. Prof. Moutafchiiski said that if they all rest negative, the legislature will continue working. MORE/
