site.btaThree Companies to Invest Over BGN 100 Mln in Burgas

The Burgas Municipal Council on Tuesday voted in favour for investment plans of three new business ventures, who want to invest a total of BGN 115 million in the region in the coming years. Two of the business ventures are Bulgarian companies, while the third is a German company, said town hall here on Tuesday.

The investments of one of the Bulgarian companies will be worth BGN 10 million and will open 150 new jobs in the region, while the other Bulgarian business plans on investing BGN 5 million and to open another 20 jobs. The investment of the German business venture will be BGN 100 million and will generate 200 new jobs. The activities of all new investments will be related to metal processing and production of heat pumps.

Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov noted that the administration has quickly processed and prioritized these investments in order to shorten the deadlines. "Nowadays, the most important thing for us is the life and health of our citizens. No less important, however, is the support for business and the economic prospects of Burgas and the region", said Nikolov.
