April 7 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria has reached 565, the national coronavirus task force informed on Tuesday morning.
For the last 24 hours, there have been 24 new cases, and 299 people have been tested.

There is a new case at the Centre for Emergency Medical Care in Sofia, bringing the total number of confirmed cases there to 8.

The coronavirus death toll in Bulgaria is 22. Three new patients have been cured. There are no newly infected regions. A total of 201 people are in hospital, 26 of them are in intensive care.

Head of the national coronavirus task force Gen. Moutafchiiski said that the restrictive measures need to stay in place until Easter (April 19.) He added that the cost of a PCR test is 60 leva, and it is covered by the National Health Insurance Fund, if the medical centre has a contract with it. RI/MT
