"As long as Delyan Peevski controls GERB, we won't enter in any coalitions with them regardless of the elections results. There are many people in GERB who will understand me," said Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) co-leader Kiril Petkov on bTV on Friday evening. Peevski co-chairs the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party.
"Dimitar Glavchev's [caretaker] cabinet was arranged by someone else. I am quite sure and I can speculate that those are Peevski and [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov. I have no doubts when I saw who the ministers are," he added. According to him, Glavchev did not decide on his own about any of the ministers.
Earlier on Friday, Glavchev presented the caretaker government lineup to the President. At the subsequent consultations with the head of the State, the CC-DB delegation left the room as they had strong objections to having outgoing Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov on the list of caretaker ministers. CC-DB also had strong objections against the proposed justice minister, Maria Pavlova, and the electronic governance minister, Valentin Mundrov, over ties with GERB.
