Outgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stated on Thursday that it is evident that the state administration has significantly slowed down its work.

Outgoing Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, Outgoing Energy Minister Rumen Radev and outgoing Education Minister Galin Tzokov visited the High School of Nuclear Energy in Kozloduy, Northwest Bulgaria, as well a the Kozloduy NPP site.

"Activities related to the fight against corruption, the appointment of people to the anti-corruption commission and to the regulators have practically stopped," he added.

Denkov noted that any criticisms that are made have nothing to do with the desire to speed up these processes. "We cannot wait any longer with such important things like the reform in the justice system, the Anti-corruption Commission and people's expectations that there will finally be justice," he stressed.

"We are in a process where both parties have submitted documents and negotiations are pending. My wish all along was that these negotiations would take place before March 6, but that did not happen, " responded Denkov to a journalist's question regarding GERB leader Boyko Borissov's reprimands of the fact that the Prmine Minister's resignation was submitted before the negotiations for the upcoming rotation began.

Denkov appealed to everyone to stop focusing on criticism, and to sit down at the negotiation table on Friday. He added that he wants the rotation to happen. "These suggestions that someone wanted elections from our side are completely unfounded,"he stressed.

The Prime Minister agrees with Borissov's statement that there should be no "obedient prime ministers", but he did not want to comment any further due to the negotiations ahead, noting that a lot of the media discourse is hindering the talks.
