site.btaBSP Hopes Kalin Stoyanov Will Not Be Part of Next Cabinet, Acting Party's Chair Says

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) hopes that the caretaker prime minister will will hear the society's call and Kalin Stoyanov will not be part of the next cabinet, the party's acting Chair, Atanas Zafirov, said Saturday in the locality of Zhabokrek, below the Rila Monastery.

"If he stays, it would mean another, this time quite severe political crisis, which will now really turn into a constitutional one with a very unclear ending," he added.

Zafirov stressed that the recent actions of the caretaker Interior Minister show that BSP's position was correct. "Stoyanov has to decide whether he wants to be a politician or whether he wants to be a caretaker minister in an extremely crucial post that should guarantee the fairness and transparency of the elections," BSP's acting Chair said.
