The mountain hiking conditions on Tuesday are poor, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) informed BTA. The weather in the high parts of the mountains is foggy and windy, with wet snow drifts in some places.The temperature is around 0C. 

The lift facilities in the mountain resorts are working and the slopes are operational.

Mountain rescuers recommend that tourists do not underestimate the winter conditions and be properly equipped.

During the past 24 hours, two rescue operations were held in the mountains. In one case, help was provided to two 16-year-old boys in Vitosha, who were wearing inappropriate clothes for the season and had lost their way. In another czase, a tourist with a knee injury was helped in Rila mountain.
