Veliko Tarnovo Mayor Daniel Panov was reelected for a third term (2023-2027) as chair of the Management Board of the National Association of Municipalities on Wednesday. The vote was secret

Daniel Panov and Elin Pelin Mayor Ivailo Simeonov contested the post.

A total of 328 delegates cast their vote. There were four invalid ballots. Panov received 247 votes and his opponent 77 votes. 

Sarnitsa Mayor Nebi Bozov was elected unanimously as chair of the Supervisory Board.
