Bulgaria's highest ranked tennis player Grigor Dimitrov won his match against Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam on Thursday. Dimitrov's single breakthrough in each set was enough to win him the match in just under an hour and a half.

In the next round, sixth seed Dimitrov will face the winner of the match between Denmark's Holger Rune and Kazakhstan's Alexander Shevchenko.

In 2023, the Bulgarian athlete reached the semi-finals in Rotterdam.
